The Pacifica Portal Project
This website is a public prototype for The Pacifica Government Portal. It is being developed as a roleplay government, citizenship, law library, and civic services platform for The Pacifica region. Some pages may be incomplete, non-functional, or temporary while the full system is being built.
What This Project Is
A central civic portal for organizing Pacifica’s government, citizenship process, legislation, public notices, and future services.
Project Overview
The long-term purpose of this website.
Purpose
The Pacifica Government Portal is intended to act as the official web system for civic participation inside The Pacifica. The goal is to provide one organized place where citizens can apply for citizenship, view laws, check government information, follow public notices, and eventually participate in official processes.
This project is currently focused on building a clean public-facing prototype first. Once the core pages are stable, additional backend features can be added over time.
Current Prototype Scope
- Public homepage for government information, current offices, and official notices.
- Citizen account registration and login foundation.
- Citizen dashboard for account status, planned services, and portal updates.
- Law library pages for passed acts, public bills, and legal records.
- Basic shared styling, header navigation, and reusable page structure.
Development Approach
Pacifica is being developed in phases. The first phase focuses on making the public site look complete enough to publish. Later phases will focus on database-driven tools, admin controls, forms, review queues, and citizen services.
