Preamble
This act shall serve as an extension of the definition of citizenship as described in the Bill of Rights.
Section I — Definitions
1. Citizenship Qualification Criteria: To be eligible for citizenship in the region of The Pacifica, all nations must have a nation in the region of The Pacifica, apply for citizenship on the forum, application accepted by the Minister of State for Domestic Affairs or equivalent office, and maintain their nation in the region continuously.
2. Hosting Platform: This very forum shall be the main platform for all citizenship applications. Exemptions to this may be granted by the Maritime Chancellor or the Minister of State for Domestic Affairs.
Section II — Provisions
1. Any nation residing within The Pacifica may apply for citizenship.
2. Applicants must demonstrate a basic level of activity within the region, as defined by law or administrative policy.
3. Additional eligibility requirements may be established by the Assembly, provided they remain reasonable and non-discriminatory.
Section III — Enforcement
1. This law shall be enforced by the Maritime Chancellor and the Minister of State for Domestic Affairs by conducting citizenship audits every 45 days, ensuring the applicant’s citizenship application is accurate, and keeping records of all the region’s citizens.
Section IV — Final Provisions
1. This Act shall take effect upon assent by the Meridian.
2. Any conflicting laws are hereby repealed.
